Alberta Louise McClellan is the Executive Director of the Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Community Development Corporation (FABCDC) and an Associate Minister at the Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church
. Having led FABCDC since its inception, she brings more than 25 years in management and administration experience in the non-profit industry to her work at FABCDC.
Ms. McClellan has a B.A. in Management and Human Resources from Trevecca University, Nashville, TN and numerous certifications, including HOME Program Regulations Specialist (HUD), Housing and Community Development (University of Maryland), and Housing Development Finance (National Development Council). She has participated in the Harvard University Divinity School Summer Leadership Institute for Faith-Based Community and Economic Development and served as a member of the Advisory Board for the FannieMae Tennessee Partnership Office and Nashville’s Brownfield Partnership Advisory Board. Currently, Ms. McClellan serves on the Farmer’s Market Board of Metro Davidson and is a member of the Historic Buena Vista Neighborhood Association.
Ms. McClellan was recognized in 2003 by the Interdenominational Ministers’ Fellowship and awarded the Martin Luther King Drum Major Award for Community Service. Ms. McClellan also conducts workshops on church leadership, teaches a weekday Bible class, and serves as a consultant for faith-based community and economic development.
